October 5th and 6th brought the PuppyIR partners to Madrid. User parties Emma Kinderziekenhuis and Museon have created very nice scenarios that help steer the research activities. Main target user community is children aged 4-12. The first paper is out, planning to build technology on top of the OpenSearch proposal. A PuppyIR system then is nothing more than a search mashup. Many ideas to be explored!!!
